A person misplaced a piece of his leg when he was attacked by an alligator exterior of a Florida lodge after mistaking the reptile for a canine, police mentioned.
The weird incident unfolded as the person was strolling exterior the Heat Mineral Springs Motel in North Port round 12:30 a.m. Tuesday and seen a darkish determine shuffling round in some bushes, WFLA reported, citing the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Workplace.
Pondering that it was a canine connected to an extended leash, the person didn’t transfer out of the best way when the gator charged towards him.
