A California man has been arrested for allegedly making an attempt to rape a younger woman at a Denny’s.
Jimmie Kirkwood, 33, was taken into custody over the alleged assault on the restaurant in Lengthy Seaside early Monday, KTLA reported.
Police stated a Good Samaritan had noticed Kirkwood allegedly assaulting the woman and detained him contained in the restaurant till officers might arrive.
Officers seen the suspect had a number of stab wounds to his physique after they have been questioning him.
“Right now, it’s unknown if the suspect sustained accidents throughout this incident or throughout an unrelated incident. The investigation to find out how he sustained the accidents is ongoing,” a Lengthy Seaside Police Division spokesman stated.
Kirkwood was taken to a close-by hospital for therapy.

Kirkwood has since been booked on suspicion of lewd and lascivious acts with a toddler beneath 14 years outdated, assault with the intention to commit rape and false imprisonment.
His bail was set at $100,000.
